Why Donate?

Help us spread the word!
Donations will defray the cost of advertising and raising public awareness for the Build a Better Buffalo Cause:

T   Technical - Research, research, research.  Presenting our cause requires an understanding of the political, economic, environmental and sociological challenges facing the City of Buffalo.  Further, garnering support for a transformation project on the waterfront will only work if we have the raw facts to back up the plan.  Suggestions include a RFP – request for proposals for market or environmental studies to quantify the costs and feasibility of implementing the ideas you see here into reality, thereby creating the foundation to engage the right people - government, private sector and otherwise - to support and implement the right development for our City's future.

E       Education - and outreach - raising awareness and support for a project of this magnitude will require harnessing the passion and knowledge of targeted individuals and companies to come to Buffalo to speak to the issues of redevelopment of our waterfront community.  Our goal is to host public informational forums with targeted speakers on various topics such as "smart" grown, the green development movement, political representatives from other cities who have already been part of a successful redevelopment project, key players in the professional sports industry, speakers versed on the convention center trade and its spin-off effect on surrounding areas, and US green building council experts, just to name a few.  This list is not exhaustive but merely the starting point to open a dialogue on this concept.

Administrative - overhead such as office space, phone, computer, professional services, etc.

M  Membership support and communication in the form of newsletters, maintaining an up-to-date and current website and hosting membership drive events.
